Why should I give my groomsmen gifts?
Hey, these are your best buds, your friends and they have taken on the duties of helping you out with your wedding. They are paying for their tuxes, they are planning a party for you, you should show your groomsmen your appreciation with a gift. The gift doesn't have to be really expensive but should show a little thought on the groom's part.
What kinds of gifts do I give to my groomsmen?
Gifts can range from the traditional items such as money clips, key chains, engraved flasks, beer steins, pens or watches.
Have a little fun and give an unusual groomsmen gift.
These could include funny boxers, humorous aprons, grilling cookbooks, cherry valet boxes, pocket knives, cribbage boards or other fun item. Grooms may get everyone the same gift or be unique in giving a gift to each groomsman that is tailored to each one.

When should I present the groomsman gifts?
Typically, the groom thanks his buddies on the night before the wedding and gives his gifts. He could give them at the rehearsal dinner or even at the bachelor party if there are gag gifts involved.
